Welcome to the Thurgood Marshall Oratorical Debate (TMOD) Education Project, the premier urban speech and debate initiative in Northeast Ohio. Our mission is to develop 21st Century leaders by developing the research, analytical, communication and literacy skills of middle and high school students to better advance their societal competitiveness, and to instill life-long learning.

Open to both boys and girls, our programs run throughout the year.

Schools can choose between Public Forum and Public Policy formats for competition.
